The first day of your 10-day Uganda wildlife safari starts with meeting up with a professional tour guide from Monumental Expeditions, and after meeting, he will brief you about the safari and go through the itinerary together. From here, you will kick off your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, home to 76 mammals and 451 bird species, with a stopover at Masindi town for lunch and another at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary for the rhinos. After your rhino tracking, the guide will drive you to Murchison Falls National Park, passing via the top of the falls. Hereafter, you go to your lodge for checking in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After having your morning breakfast, you will set off for the morning game drive to catch up with the hunters. On the game drive, you will have a chance to see lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes. 10-day Uganda wildlife safariAfter the game drive, you will head back to the lodge for refreshment and lunch, getting ready for the afternoon Nile boat cruise, where you are likely to see elephants, crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffalos, water birds, and waterbucks. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After the morning breakfast, you pack all your staff in the safari vehicle and then transfer to Kibale forest national park having a stopover at Fort portal for lunch. You will be entertained by the vast beautiful sceneries along your way including the Rwenzori ranges. On arrival, you will check-in at the lodge, and hereafter have an optional nature walk to the bigodi wetland where you see several birds and primate species. Head back to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After early morning breakfast, your guide will take you to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking. At the headquarter you be briefed and afterward you will set off for the chimpanzees. 10-day Uganda wildlife safariGoing with several rangers and trackers you will start looking for the chimpanzees in the trees and after allocating them you will have a full hour with them taking pictures of your like. After the trekking, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and after lunch, you are to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park via the mweya peninsula heading to your lodge to check-in and enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.
After your morning breakfast you will go in for the game drive where you have a chance to spot the birds in the park since its home to over 200 bird species and some animals like the king of the jungles, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, impalas, warthogs, to mention but a few. After the game drive, you will come back to the lodge to relax, have your lunch as you prepare for the evening launch cruise on the kazinga channel a water channel joining lake Edward and Lake George. On the launch cruise, you will see several water birds, reptiles, and many mammal species and these including crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, buffaloes, and many others. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.tay. .
After your morning breakfast, you will go for a forest walk in the maramagambo forest where you will visit the bat caves and have a chance to see several bird species and reptiles that include the pythons. You will also track chimpanzees in the kyambura gorge and after the chimpanzees, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and relaxations as you get ready to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest the following day. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
After the morning breakfast, you are to transfer to Bwindi national park a home to 346 birds species, 400 plant species, and 120 mammal species sited on 331 km2 via the ishasha sector having a chance to see tree-climbing lions. Having a stopover for lunch, you will proceed to the park check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
You will have an early morning breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before you try to penetrate the impenetrable forest of Bwindi. 10-day Uganda wildlife safariAfter the briefing, you are to penetrate the jungle with several rangers and trackers to allocate the endangered mountain gorillas and after finding them you are to spend a full hour with them taking pictures of your own so don’t leave back your camera, hiking boots, insect repellants, and binoculars because there are many birds and primates to view while trekking the gorillas. After the trekking, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and refreshments getting ready for the Batwa where you will enjoy their cultural songs and dances, supporting them by buying some of their art pieces. After your breakfast, you will transfer to the home of 332 bird species situated on 371km2 just 7 hours from Bwindi. Having enjoyed your en-route lunch, you will arrive at Lake Mburo National Park going in for a boat cruise at lake Mburo where you will see crocodiles, hippos, and several water birds. After the boat ride, you will proceed to your lodge to check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
On the last day of the 10 days, you have your breakfast and then pack all your belongings in the vehicle leaving for the game drive, where you will have a chance to see zebras, buffalos, and many antelopes. After the game drive, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala having an en-route lunch and the guide will drive you to the airport or your hotel and that marks the end of the 10 days of Uganda wildlife safari.
