This 6 day Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara Species Reserve safari is designed to allow you to view the Big Cats of Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah, as well as lots of other wildlife. The elephant herds in Amboseli National Park are well-known. All of the National Park areas are beautiful, with Amboseli being “in the shadow” of Mount Kilimanjaro. This 6 Day Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara Wildlife Reserve Safari includes two nights in Amboseli National Park and three nights in the Masai Mara Reserve.

Day 1 Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Our driving guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 8:00 a.m. and take you to Amboseli National Park, which dominates spectacular terrain at the foot of the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at the park’s lodge. Later in the afternoon, embark on a game drive in quest of spectacular animals, notably elephants. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Morning and Afternoon Game drives in Amboseli Park
Begin the day with a 6:00 a.m. game drive in the park in search of wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast later. After lunch, go on another game drive later in the afternoon. The ideal times to see animals at their most active are early mornings and late afternoons. You may also opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Return to the Lodge for supper and overnight stay.

Day 3 Transfer from Amboseli National Park to Maasai Mara Reserve
We depart for Masai Mara Reserve after an early breakfast. You will arrive at your Masai Mara camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive at around 3:00 p.m., where you will be able to observe fantastic wildlife in the reserve ranging from Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard, and cheetahs to Rhino, Elephant, and wildebeests. You will afterward return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 4 Morning and Afternoon Game drives
After an early breakfast, depart for your morning wildlife drive in Masai Mara Reserve. Return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in search of additional animals. The ideal times to see animals at their most active are early mornings and late afternoons. You may also opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Return to the Lodge for supper and sleep.

Day 6 Return to Nairobi
After an early breakfast and checkout, you will complete your safari with a wildlife drive before returning to Nairobi through the Rift Valley Escarpment, with brief stops along the route. When you arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home or dropped off at your Nairobi hotel for the night.
