Day 1 Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National park

Your 8-day Uganda safari will begin in Kampala, Uganda’s capital. Drive to Murchison Falls National Park with your guide in the morning. The first activity is guided rhino tracking on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is home to 25 white rhinos. After rhino tracking and lunch, you will return to the park and climb to the top of Murchison Falls, the world’s tallest waterfall. It is noted for its strong plunges down a 40-meter cliff and the stunning landscape of the Nile, the world’s longest river. You then drive to your resort in time for supper and an overnight stay. Day 2 Game drive and River Nile boat cruise

A wildlife drive in the early morning hours takes you via Murchison Falls and through the Nile-Albert wetland, where you may view elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, giraffes, lions, forest pigs, and, with luck, a leopard. Lunch will be served at the resort. In the afternoon, take a boat trip to observe hippos, crocodiles, and waterfowl, as well as the devil’s cauldron.

Day 3 Transfer to Kibale forest national park

After breakfast, you will travel from Murchison to Kibale Forest National Park, which will take around 6-7 hours. The excursion takes you through the Albertine Rift Valley scenery, stopping for lunch along the way. From there, you travel through Fort Portal Crater Lakes before heading into your resort to rest up for the chimpanzee tracking the next day. Dinner and sleep in the Kibale guest house, primate lodge, or chimp guest house.

Day 4 Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You get up early for breakfast and get to the visitor center before 7:30 a.m. to meet guides for chimp briefings. Enjoy a trip into the jungle to spend an hour seeing and photographing chimps as they are discovered. Other primates you could see in Kibale’s jungle are the red colobus monkey, the black and white colobus monkey, and the grey-cheeked mangabey. Return to your lodge for lunch before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for check-in, dinner, and overnight. You may unwind beside the pool.

Day 5 Morning game drive and afternoon Launch cruise

Early in the morning, at 06:30 am, you will embark on a wildlife drive with your guide through Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes such as Uganda, kob, topi, and bushbuck, as well as over 600 bird species. After seeing the animals, you will return to the lodge for lunch before continuing to Mweya in time for a boat tour on the Kazinga canal. This tropical water canal that connects Lake George and Lake Edward is a fantastic spot to watch hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. 8 Days Uganda Safari. Day 6 Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi

Day 7 Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Breakfast is followed by a briefing in the park headquarters for 30 minutes. Visitors are segregated into small groups (typically no more than eight persons), each escorted by a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and armed rangers. Spending an hour with a gorilla family is a favorite activity, and rangers explain how they feed and live. A trek through the jungle in search of gorillas offers natural beauties such as birds, trees, and primates. After gorilla trekking, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi in time to begin your boat trip with stunning views of the lake. Visit many islands and learn about their histories while your guide shows you otters and birds. Check into your lodge for dinner and a night’s sleep.

Day 8 Departure to Kampala

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to your 8-day Uganda primates and wildlife safari trip and be taken to Kampala/Entebbe for your departing flight back home, with the option of staying overnight in Entebbe or Kampala.
